About
Archangel Invocation is a symphonic metal project with Christian rock notes. The plan is simple and large: one album, one opus, for each book of scripture. Opus 1 walks through Genesis, from the first light of creation to the death of Joseph.
The sound is epic, reverent and cinematic. There are big choirs, orchestral builds and singable choruses, and a low choir that sings as the voice of God. The songs move between awe, judgment, grief and redemption.
Sources
The lyrics are original, but each one is based on the King James Version (1611/1769), which is in the public domain in the United States. Every song credits the chapters it draws on.
How it is made
Archangel Invocation is an openly AI-assisted hobby and experiment project. (Yes, the initials are on purpose.)
- Lyrics were drafted with an AI writing assistant under human direction. Every subject was chosen, every batch approved and every revision directed by hand.
- Music is generated in Suno from those lyrics and style prompts.
- Cover art is AI-generated.
